TAROM is Romania's flag carrier and a SkyTeam member providing connections from Bucharest to European capitals. Their narrow-body Business class is a premium recliner rather than lie-flat, best suited for short-haul European routes.

The business class experience

Business Class features Recliner with extra legroom (737/A318). Seat width is 18 inches and fully extended bed length is 38 inches pitch — comfortable for passengers up to about 6'3" (190cm) to sleep fully flat. The seat layout on TAROM's long-haul widebody aircraft typically offers direct aisle access for every business class passenger, so you never have to climb over a seatmate.

In-flight entertainment is delivered via Overhead screens. Dining on TAROM: Romanian and Continental cuisine. Baggage allowance in business class: 2 × 23kg checked. All flights include amenity kits, premium bedding, and priority boarding/baggage handling.

Lounges and ground experience

At the home hub: TAROM Business Lounge (OTP). At other airports worldwide: SkyTeam lounges worldwide. Lounge access is included with your business class ticket — you show your boarding pass at the lounge entrance and receive food, drinks, WiFi, and dedicated workspaces until boarding time.

On the ground at departure, TAROM business class passengers get dedicated check-in counters, fast-track security lanes where available, and priority boarding. At arrival, baggage is tagged with priority labels and comes out first — typically saving 15-30 minutes versus economy on heavily-loaded flights.
