What we've learned booking Delta Air Lines
Delta One Suite is the US carrier business class product that finally made us stop qualifying our recommendations with "for a US airline." The A350 and A330-900neo Delta One Suite cabin features a sliding door for genuine privacy, direct aisle access, bedding by Westin, and a service standard that's been steadily improving as Delta invests in crew training for their premium product. The Suite is available on most long-haul international routes and on select domestic transcontinental flights (JFK-LAX, JFK-SFO), and it's become the product that Delta loyalists rightly point to when asked why they choose Delta over foreign carriers. Our consolidator rates on Delta Business are available on most international routes, though the savings gap versus direct booking is typically smaller than with foreign carriers (Delta's yield management is aggressive and their published fares are already competitive). The SkyMiles earning, the Delta Sky Club lounge network (the most extensive of any US carrier), and the Medallion benefits make Delta the pragmatic choice for travelers who fly frequently and value the ecosystem as much as the individual seat.

Founded in 1924, Delta Air Lines is headquartered in United States and operates to 300+ destinations across 50 countries. The fleet is built around Airbus A350-900, Airbus A330-900neo and Boeing 767-400ER for long-haul operations, with additional narrowbody types on regional routes. Delta Air Lines is a SkyTeam alliance member, which gives passengers access to lounges and booking across all partner carriers worldwide.
The business class experience
Delta One Suite features Delta One Suite with closing door (A350). Seat width is 22 inches and fully extended bed length is 78 inches — comfortable for passengers up to about 6'3" (190cm) to sleep fully flat. The seat layout on Delta Air Lines's long-haul widebody aircraft typically offers direct aisle access for every business class passenger, so you never have to climb over a seatmate.
In-flight entertainment is delivered via 18-inch touchscreen, Delta Studio. Dining on Delta Air Lines: Multi-course dining, partnerships with celeb chefs. Baggage allowance in business class: 2 × 32kg checked. All flights include amenity kits, premium bedding, and priority boarding/baggage handling.
Lounges and ground experience
At the home hub: Delta Sky Club + Delta One Lounge (JFK). At other airports worldwide: SkyTeam partner lounges worldwide. Lounge access is included with your business class ticket — you show your boarding pass at the lounge entrance and receive food, drinks, WiFi, and dedicated workspaces until boarding time.
On the ground at departure, Delta Air Lines business class passengers get dedicated check-in counters, fast-track security lanes where available, and priority boarding. At arrival, baggage is tagged with priority labels and comes out first — typically saving 15-30 minutes versus economy on heavily-loaded flights.
