Business Class Flights from Chicago

Chicago O'Hare is the Midwest's transatlantic gateway and one of the most underrated premium-cabin departure cities in the US. ORD has direct business class service to London, Frankfurt, Paris, Dublin, Tokyo, Delhi, Manila, Dubai, Doha, Istanbul, and Warsaw — a network that serves the entire central US without requiring a positioning flight to JFK or LAX. United's Polaris hub at ORD includes one of the best US departure lounges (the Polaris Lounge in Terminal 1), and their 787/777 fleet covers the transatlantic and transpacific routes with consistent Polaris product. American Airlines adds European coverage from T3, and the foreign carriers — Lufthansa, British Airways, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, LOT — round out the network from T5. The ORD pricing advantage is real: business class fares from Chicago run 10-15% below JFK and 5-10% below BOS on equivalent routes, because the demand density is lower and yield management is softer. The tradeoff is weather: November through March, ORD's IRROPS exposure means we always recommend padding connecting itineraries by at least 3 hours. The airport itself is enormous — allow 20-30 minutes to walk between domestic and international terminals.
