British Airways is the airline we book the most transatlantic business class on — not because their product is the best (it isn't always), but because their schedule depth and route network from the US to London and beyond is unmatched. BA operates more daily frequencies from more US cities to Heathrow than any other carrier, and their Oneworld partnership with American Airlines creates the largest transatlantic joint venture in commercial aviation. The product story is nuanced: BA's newest Club Suite (1-2-1 with door, on the 777-300ER and A350) is genuinely competitive with any European carrier's business class. But BA also still flies the older Club World (2-4-2 yin-yang configuration) on many routes, and that product — with its compromised middle seats and inconsistent aisle access — is a generation behind the competition.
