The business class experience

Air New Zealand Business Premier features Lie-flat herringbone with direct aisle access. Seat width is 22 inches and fully extended bed length is 79 inches — comfortable for passengers up to about 6'3" (190cm) to sleep fully flat. The seat layout on Air New Zealand's long-haul widebody aircraft typically offers direct aisle access for every business class passenger, so you never have to climb over a seatmate.

In-flight entertainment is delivered via 12.3-inch touchscreen, noise-cancelling headphones. Dining on Air New Zealand: New Zealand cuisine, NZ wines, artisan cheeses. Baggage allowance in business class: 2 × 32kg checked. All flights include amenity kits, premium bedding, and priority boarding/baggage handling.

Lounges and ground experience

At the home hub: Air New Zealand Lounge (AKL) — espresso bar, à la carte dining. At other airports worldwide: Star Alliance partner lounges worldwide. Lounge access is included with your business class ticket — you show your boarding pass at the lounge entrance and receive food, drinks, WiFi, and dedicated workspaces until boarding time.

On the ground at departure, Air New Zealand business class passengers get dedicated check-in counters, fast-track security lanes where available, and priority boarding.
