British Airways Club Suite Review 2026 — The New Business Class
British Airways Club Suite transformed BA's business class from mediocre to magnificent. We review the closing-door suite on the A350 and B777 fleet.
Club Suite: BA's business class revolution
British Airways Club Suite is the single biggest improvement BA has made to its business class in over a decade. The old Club World seat — a backward-facing, cramped, door-less pod — has been replaced by a forward-facing suite with a full closing door, a 18.5-inch entertainment screen, wireless charging, and a 79-inch fully flat bed. The transformation is remarkable.
Club Suite is available on all A350-1000 aircraft and is being retrofitted across the B777 fleet. On the JFK-LHR route, the A350 operates daily and is the aircraft you want to target. We rate Club Suite 9.2/10 — a massive improvement over the old Club World product.
The seat and suite design
The Club Suite is configured 1-2-1 with direct aisle access for every passenger. The closing door rises to shoulder height, creating genuine privacy. The seat converts to a 79-inch fully flat bed with a luxury mattress topper and White Company bedding. Storage is generous — there is a personal wardrobe, a vanity mirror, and multiple charging points.
Our tip: For maximum privacy, request window seats in rows 1-4 on the A350. These forward suites are quieter and further from the galley. Avoid the last row of Club Suite as galley noise can be an issue on overnight flights.
The Concorde Room and Galleries lounges
Business class passengers have access to the Galleries Lounge at Heathrow Terminal 5, which offers a wine bar, Gordon Ramsay pre-flight dining, and shower suites. At JFK Terminal 7, the Galleries lounge is more modest but still perfectly adequate.
For an enhanced experience, consider purchasing a Concorde Room day pass (available to Gold card holders and through our agents). The Concorde Room offers à la carte dining, a private cabana area, and Champagne service that is a class above the standard lounge.
