Virgin Atlantic Upper Class Review 2026 — A330neo & A350 Experience
Virgin Atlantic Upper Class combines a social atmosphere with genuine comfort. We review the new A330neo seat, the Clubhouse lounge, and the in-flight bar.
Virgin Atlantic Upper Class: business class with personality
Virgin Atlantic Upper Class is unlike any other business class. Where competitors focus on privacy and enclosed suites, Virgin embraces a social, vibrant atmosphere — the in-flight bar is the heart of the cabin, and the crew bring an energy that is distinctly Virgin. The new A330neo and A350 feature a 1-2-1 herringbone layout with direct aisle access, converting to a fully flat bed.
The Clubhouse lounge at Heathrow — with its rooftop terrace, spa, and cocktail bar — sets the tone before you even board. We rate Virgin Atlantic Upper Class 8.7/10 — perfect for travellers who want comfort with character.
The Upper Class seat on the A330neo
The A330neo Upper Class seat is a significant improvement over older aircraft. The 1-2-1 configuration provides direct aisle access, and the seat converts to a fully flat 82-inch bed. The seat features a 17.3-inch entertainment screen, wireless charging, Bluetooth connectivity, and USB-C ports. Privacy is good with the herringbone layout, though there is no closing door.
Our recommendation: For the best experience, fly the A350 or A330neo rather than the older A330-300. The cabin product is noticeably better. Our agents can confirm aircraft type before you book.
