ITA Airways (successor to Alitalia) is building a fresh identity with a modern fleet. A350 and A330neo business class offers Italian elegance and gastronomy with competitive transatlantic fares.

The business class experience

ITA Airways Business Class features Lie-flat staggered with direct aisle access (A350). Seat width is 22 inches and fully extended bed length is 78 inches — comfortable for passengers up to about 6'3" (190cm) to sleep fully flat. The seat layout on ITA Airways's long-haul widebody aircraft typically offers direct aisle access for every business class passenger, so you never have to climb over a seatmate.

In-flight entertainment is delivered via 17-inch 4K touchscreen. Dining on ITA Airways: Italian gastronomy, regional specialties, Italian wines. Baggage allowance in business class: 2 × 32kg checked. All flights include amenity kits, premium bedding, and priority boarding/baggage handling.

Lounges and ground experience

At the home hub: ITA Lounge (FCO). At other airports worldwide: SkyTeam partner lounges worldwide. Lounge access is included with your business class ticket — you show your boarding pass at the lounge entrance and receive food, drinks, WiFi, and dedicated workspaces until boarding time.

On the ground at departure, ITA Airways business class passengers get dedicated check-in counters, fast-track security lanes where available, and priority boarding. At arrival, baggage is tagged with priority labels and comes out first — typically saving 15-30 minutes versus economy on heavily-loaded flights.
