PLAY is Iceland's budget transatlantic airline offering low-cost flights via Keflavik. PLAY Plus adds extra legroom and a checked bag — not a traditional business class, but the cheapest transatlantic premium option from the US East Coast.

The business class experience

PLAY Plus features Extra-legroom recliner with blocked middle (A320neo/A321neo). Seat width is 18 inches and fully extended bed length is 34 inches pitch + blocked middle — comfortable for passengers up to about 6'3" (190cm) to sleep fully flat. The seat layout on PLAY's long-haul widebody aircraft typically offers direct aisle access for every business class passenger, so you never have to climb over a seatmate.

In-flight entertainment is delivered via Streaming to personal device. Dining on PLAY: Purchase on board, Icelandic snacks. Baggage allowance in business class: 1 × 20kg checked. All flights include amenity kits, premium bedding, and priority boarding/baggage handling.

Lounges and ground experience

At the home hub: No dedicated lounge. At other airports worldwide: No lounge access. Lounge access is included with your business class ticket — you show your boarding pass at the lounge entrance and receive food, drinks, WiFi, and dedicated workspaces until boarding time.

On the ground at departure, PLAY business class passengers get dedicated check-in counters, fast-track security lanes where available, and priority boarding. At arrival, baggage is tagged with priority labels and comes out first — typically saving 15-30 minutes versus economy on heavily-loaded flights.
